Jaguar protection park to be one of the largest conservation reserves


It’s no surprise that many species are agonizing, and are in need of urgent restoration and protection. That is why the government, along with the conservation secretariat have designed the very ambitious project of almost 1000 hectares to build a park to guard jaguar and other species.

The new park project includes the restoration of degraded areas, the development of productive activities such as beekeeping to care for the ecosystem, strategies for the conservation of flora and fauna with an emphasis on endemic species such as the jaguar that promote their protection and Its reproduction; besides that, it will delimit the surface to avoid future invasions.

The project also contemplates fauna passages so that the species circulate freely, the ordering of the different accesses; as well as the development of environmental guidelines for its operation as architecture with bioclimatic principles, rational use of water and energy resources.
